Light fades
to black
Warmth turns
to cold
Smiles turns
to tears
An ocean of time has passed
yet my mind still recall
the blood stained lies
the truthful eyes
the broken goodbyes
Time to
fight back
Forget memories
of old
Destroy the prison of fears
and words untold
My mind wanders of in remembrance
into untouched woods
of bewitched essence
Lets the vague path vanish
in an unilluminated mist
while listening for words
that will never extist
Trees whispering of forgotten lifetimes
lost screams
broken dreams
and noises of distant chimes
Similar patterns
and a familiar cage
Like a withered old book
with a missing last page
Rotten words and songs of dispair
The thickening fog hides faces of evil
and a stench of decay lurks in the air
Claws, sharp teeth and creatures deranged
Ready to attack
like nothing is changed
Trapped in a dream
soon to brake
Struggeling to scream
unable to awake
The mesmerising mist is
closing in
as the final teardrops
leaves my shivering chin
Darkness overlays in diabolical ways
Now wide awake I endure my last gaze
A reversed collapse
soon to elapse
At the horrific strike of four
