Rido:
Rido felt a pang of humility wash over him like a crashing wave. Before him, Juuri was holding two magazines of naked women. He had no problem with naked women but watching them on paper or film was just purely outrageous and ridiculous.
“Seriously, not cool guys, not cool” Rido said, sighing.
He glanced at Juliette and she was still disgusted by the magazine and suddenly Rido had the urge to explain himself properly. “Rido isn’t that type of a guy” a light voice spoke up close to him.
Rido looked at the direction of the voice and Xi was sitting there, her brows bent, “I mean he would rather choose porn with girls in cute rabbit suits or with carebears behind” she went on.
Rido choked up, “W-with carebears?” he stammered.
“Aw Rido everyone knows you love cute things so don’t hide it” Juuri hissed.
Juuri turned around to face Kevin and Vincent as he held both the magazines. “Typical boys” she mumbled. “Neither of you are like men” she clicked her tongue.
Vincent grinned, “We’re men with a boys charm”
Rido started laughing, “That was a good one”
Juuri poked her tongue out towards him, “Well your so-called charm isn’t very appealing. It’s rather childish”
“Some just like it childish. You know them, women. Too bad you ain’t gotten there yet”
“Seriously! Pulling the same one on me” Juuri sighed.
“Alright children. Time for you to get back to bed. I need my beauty sleep” Kevin said, in a high and mighty tone.
Everyone started fixing things the way it was. It was easier when Vincent used his powers to move things at his will. Rido caught the look on Vincent’s face as it shone once he looked back and forth between Juuri and the sofa. Swiftly his hands moved towards the original direction of the sofa and it started to move back but then Juuri was in the way. Juliette’s eyes widened but she didn’t have the time to react until Juuri’s entire body fell backwards on the sofa. A soft scream escaped Juuri’s lips as she landed upside down on the sofa back towards its place.
Everyone broke into laughter while Juuri sulked. “I swear I will kill you” she said as she got up and just as she was on her way to Vincent a big whistle penetrated their ears.
“The signal! The guards are coming” Juliette hissed.
Suddenly everyone started whispering, “STOP!” Rido shouted. “The girls don’t have enough time to get back to their rooms so we need to hide them quickly” he ordered, as a leader would do.
Just when Rido was about to take hold of Juliette’s arm, Kevin was quicker and dragged her underneath his bed. “No, they’ll have to lie with us because they’ll check everywhere” he whispered.
Kevin nodded and quickly pushed Juliette instead on the bed and he jumped on it too. Rido closed his eyes, trying not to think about the irritation that started to grow in his stomach. He peered at Xi whom stood there not knowing what to do. “Come” Rido whispered to her and she followed suit.
Both of them quickly jumped inside his bed but he caught glimpse of how Juuri and Vincent jumped in the same bed. It surprised him – that Vincent could ever do that; no matter what circumstance he would normally not help Juuri. Somehow, the thought of Vincent and Juuri took away the bitterness of Kevin and Juliette. It would be an amusing combination to see Vincent and Juuri together.
Rido noticed how Xi was closing up against the wall behind her. If the guard was inside here, he would notice Xi. Quickly, Rido took hold of her waist and pulled her closer, almost like a pillow like. He twirled her around in the blanket and was half on top her, just to disguise her. But he felt a bit guilty – as if he was raping her. “I’m sorry, but this is necessary” he said.
But then an annoying thought crept into the back of his mind, was Kevin lying like this with Juliette?
