These walls know things
you’ll never get even close to
like how I’ve cried myself to some kind of
sleep
(more like living hell through
nightmares though)
and they see how
you really aren’t that good at
keeping me
together
how your hands are more
lost than comforting
how your eyes
doesn’t see through my walls
as I maybe actually would want
yours to be able to do
They know so much more
like how the speakers of my
withered heart
has been drowned
in the deep times of flood
and you can’t hear their sound now
listen
listen
place your heart
next to mine
But you don’t hear a thing
except the lies that fly all around me now
on wings of illusions I made
with my bare hands
with my bare skin
in the motion of
tearing apart
itself
With the skin
you don’t dare looking at
by now
These walls know
more than you
but they stay cold and hard
they won’t give the
slightest hint of
sympathy
And you won’t hear a sound
...
