Timeless Passion |
When strings of splendour no longer play thy harp
When thy beauty is dispirited, taken wholly apart
Then I am grown, a forlorn man
I will not know you, I never can
Thy sweet scent, o splendid odour,
Thy soft skin, I must forever adore
Thy sensitive heart, gentle and compassionate
It will keep on, forever endlessly fascinate
Yet will thy exterior consider thy loveliness?
Will thy boundless care erupt through thy skin?
Will thy ever appreciate, the great woman thy were
The woman I knew, who made happiness occur
Art thou at all, brave enough to see,
Our love will never make it, through eternity
This moment captured, forever in our minds
No one knows, the day we will break the binds
If this day is lost, no longer evoked
Our memories vanished, and spirits revoked
While new days approach, love will revolve
Leaving us hoping, it will not dissolve
These hopeless endeavours, rewarded with trust.
